Details of service in war: The arrival of Horsfall's Riverina 200 built 3NSWIB up to its full operating strength. These recuits were assigned to existing Squadrons in Grundy's case to 'A' sqn making up a six Squadron regiment. The war ended only a few weeks after the arrival of these reinforcements and they were involved mainly in internal security duties and in disarming surrendering Boer soldiers.
