Details of service in war: He was a Sudan Contingent Soldier in 1885. The Imperial Bushman returned to Australia on the Orient embarking at East London SA on the 23rd June 1901 arriving in Sydney on the 17th July 1901, having already called in to the ports of Albany and Melbourne.
